Horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps are single-suction multistage segmented centrifugal pumps, consisting of several stages stacked horizontally, each with an impeller that transfers energy to the fluid. The fluid flows through each impeller in turn to achieve the required pressure and flow. The horizontal multistage centrifugal pump has a suction port located horizontally in the water inlet section and a discharge port located vertically upward in the water outlet section. It is commonly used in high-pressure applications such as water supply systems, irrigation, fire protection, industrial water delivery, and HVAC systems.
